6. Referendum

A referendum relating the adoption of the Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury Neighbourhood Development Plan was held on Thursday, 6 May 2021.

The question asked in Referendum was "Do you want City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Haworth, Cross Roads and Stanbury to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?"

Referendum Result

The results of the referendum held on Thursday, 6 May 2021 were as follows:

Following the successful referendum, the Council will seek to formally 'make' (adopt) the neighbourhood plan as part of the statutory development plan for the District.
